Storing and Preserving our Caviar
Our sturgeon caviar can typically be stored for up to six weeks in a fridge when sealed. Please store your caviar in the fridge as soon as it is received and taken out of our packaging.
We strongly recommend consuming our caviar in one sitting for the best tasting experience. Once opened, it can typically be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours or at room temperature in its original packaging for up to 24 hours. Always consult the label for a precise recommended best-by date.
Where our Sturgeon Caviar Comes From
Our caviar is sourced ethically and legally from the finest European aquaculture farms. We do not sell any wild or black-market caviar. Protecting this historic and endangered species is extremely important to our mission and 10% of our profits are donated to various organizations that work to protect wild sturgeons and restore their natural habitats around the world.
How our Sturgeon Caviar is Made
Raised sustainably and ethically in state-of-the-art aquaculture facilities, each sturgeon is hand-picked at peak maturity using the latest filtering and ultrasound technology. The fish roe is extracted using labour-inducing techniques and then carefully filtered, inspected, cured, and aged. Once ready, the Siberian caviar is then immediately packaged and made available online for purchase to ensure ultimate freshness, flavour profile and texture.

How much caviar do I need?
The amount of caviar you need will depend on the amount of people that will be enjoying it. As a rule of thumb, 28 grams (1 ounce) is enough for 1 to 2 people.
Can I freeze caviar?
Although we do not recommend doing so, you can freeze a sealed jar or tin of caviar for up to one year. The caviar will lose some of its flavor and texture as time goes on.How do I store caviar?
A sealed jar or tin of caviar should be kept in the fridge around -2 to 0 Celsius (28 to 32 Fahrenheit) to preserve its freshness, flavor, and texture.Is your caviar wild or farmed?
All our caviar products are ethically sourced from sustainable farms. We do not sell wild caviar. Wild caviar is illegal in many countries.Will my caviar become spoiled if I am not home to receive my order?
All orders are shipped in weather-proof packaging with ice pack to preserve freshness for up to 72 hours. Packages ship with Next-Day (Overnight) shipping from Monday through Wednesday and typically arrive within 24 hours in larger cities and up to 48 hours in more rural areas. We do not ship from Thursday to Sunday to prevent orders from arriving spoiled in case of shipment delays. Please put your caviar in the fridge as soon as possible once you receive your order.My caviar is a different color than the pictures, is it normal?
Sturgeon caviar comes in a wide range of colors, even from within the space species. For example, Ossetra caviar naturally comes in a range of colors from Golden Brown to Dark Brown so what you receive may differ slightly from what is pictures.
