Our Sevruga caviar can typically be stored for up to six weeks in a fridge when sealed. Please store your Sevruga caviar in the fridge as soon as it is received and taken out of our packaging.
We strongly recommend consuming our Sevruga caviar in one seating for the best tasting experience. Once opened, it can typically be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours or at room temperature in its original packaging for up to 24 hours. Always consult the label for a precise recommended best-by date.
Shipping & Delivery
Our Sevruga caviar is shipped the same day (for orders placed before 1:00 PM EST) and will typically arrive within 1 business day. Orders placed Wednesday afternoon through Sunday will ship on Monday and typically arrive on Tuesday.
Our caviar is shipped using a Next-Day (Overnight) shipping service and packaged carefully in temperature-controlled packaging to guarantee freshness.

How our Sevruga Caviar is Made
Raised sustainably and ethically in state-of-the-art aquaculture facilities, each Stellate (Starry) sturgeon is hand-picked at peak maturity using the latest filtering and ultrasound technology. The fish roe is extracted using labour-inducing techniques and then carefully filtered, inspected, cured, and aged. Once ready, the Sevruga caviar is then immediately packaged and made available online for purchase to ensure ultimate freshness, flavour profile and texture.
About Sevruga (Starry) Caviar
Sevruga caviar comes from the Stellate (Starry) sturgeon, one most prized sturgeon species found in the wild in the Black, Azov, Caspian and Aegean seas in Europe and Asia.
The Starry sturgeon can grow up to an impressive 2.2 meters long (over 7 feet) and weigh as much as 80kg (180 lbs). Females can take up to 10 years to mature and begin producing its precious roe (fish eggs).

Packages ship with Next-Day (Overnight) shipping from Monday through Wednesday and typically arrive within 24 hours in larger cities and up to 48 hours in more rural areas. We do not ship from Thursday to Sunday to prevent orders from arriving spoiled in case of shipment delays. Please put your caviar in the fridge as soon as possible once you receive your order.

For example, Ossetra caviar naturally comes in a range of colors from Golden Brown to Dark Brown so what you receive may differ slightly from what is pictures. If the color is significantly different, for example it is black instead of golden brown, please get in touch with us.
