1. Security

Safeguarding the personal information of our customers is a top priority. To ensure the security of your data, we have implemented a state-of-the-art encryption system for our data storage.

We limit access to order information by providing only limited access to our support staff, and only upper management can access customers’ personal information. Additionally, all payment information, including credit card numbers, expiration dates, security numbers, or PayPal information, is secured by our payment processors or PayPal using bank-grade digital security and privacy practices.

We guarantee that no member of our organization can view or access your payment information under any circumstances.

2. Pricing

2.1 Price Change

Please be advised that prices advertised on our online store, promotional emails, or any other platform are subject to change at any time and at our discretion without prior notice.

2.2 Currency

All prices listed are in Canadian dollars (CAD). If you make a purchase using a foreign currency, your bank, credit card or payment provider will automatically convert the charge using their own currency conversion rate at the time of the purchase.

Refunds, either full or partial, for foreign currency payments will be issued in CAD and will be converted by your bank, credit card, or payment provider automatically using their own currency conversion rate at the time of the refund.

2.3 Sales Tax

Canadian sales tax is not applicable to non-transformed food items. However, Federal and provincial sales tax will be charged on all other items such as transformed foods and caviar accessories.

2.4 Special Offers

We reserve the right to use your email address to send out promotional emails, including but not limited to sales, discount coupons, and new product updates. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at your discretion.

2.5 Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any order that we deem suspicious, fraudulent, incomplete, problematic, or erroneous at any time and without prior notice or consent.

2.6 Coupon Codes

Orders are limited to one (1) coupon (discount) code. Attempting to use multiple coupon codes will invalidate any previous coupon codes redeemed for the same order.

For example, if you use a 10% discount code while shopping and later receive a 5% coupon code, you will not be able to combine them. Only one (1) coupon code can be used per order.

Please note that site-wide discounts that are pre-applied to prices are not considered coupon codes.

3. Shipping

All perishable items ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We do not ship on Thursday or Friday to ensure that your order arrives fresh since our delivery partners do not deliver on weekends.

The customer is fully responsible to be present to receive their order of perishable goods and will assume full responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of not accepting the delivery in a timely manner.

3.1 Accepting Your Order

By placing an order, you agree to be available to receive your order in accordance with the estimated delivery dates. CaviarHub will not be held responsible for any spoiled goods as a result of the customer not being present to accept their order.

3.2 Free Next-Day (Overnight) Shipping

Orders placed before 1 PM EST will ship out the same day and can be expected to be delivered the next business day. Deliveries to more rural areas may take up to 2 business days.

Example: An order that is placed on Monday morning at 9 AM EST will ship out the same day and should be expected by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Orders placed after 1 PM EST will ship out the next day and can be expected to be delivered the next business day. Deliveries to more rural areas may take up to 2 business days.

Example: An order that is placed on Monday afternoon at 3 PM EST will ship out the next day (Tuesday) and should be expected by Wednesday or Thursday.

Orders placed on Friday after 10 AM EST or over the weekend with the Free Shipping option will be shipped out on the following Monday and can be expected on Wednesday or Thursday. For more information please visit our Shipping Policy.

3.3 Business Days

Business days are Monday to Friday. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays are not considered business days.

3.4 Holidays

While CaviarHub may operate our customer care team and warehouse during holidays, our shipping partners do not work. If your order is estimated to arrive on a holiday, please expect your order to arrive on the next business day.

For example, if you ordered on Monday morning, your package would be estimated to be delivered one to two business days later (Tuesday or Wednesday). If Christmas Day falls on either Wednesday or Thursday, your package may be only delivered on Friday.

3.5 International Orders & Shipping

We currently do not ship outside of Canada. Any order set to be delivered outside of Canada will be automatically canceled and refunded.

3.6 Refusing/Rejecting Delivery

Any order that is refused or rejected upon delivery will not be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.

If you did not cancel your order on time, wish to modify your order or simply no longer want your order, you must accept the delivery and go through our normal return and exchange procedure, subject to our Return & Exchange Policy.

3.7 Unclaimed Deliveries

If you are unable to accept your delivery, it will be made available for pickup by our delivery partner. It is the customer’s full responsibility to pick up their order within the hold time frame (typically 7 days).

If you cannot collect your order from the pickup location within the hold time frame, you must contact our shipping partner to request a deadline extension.

If you fail to collect your order within the hold time frame and/or to make arrangements for a deadline extension, the order will be deemed refused/rejected and will be destroyed by our shipping partner.

As per our Terms, refused or rejected orders are not eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.

3.8 Shipping Delays

We reserve the right to delay any order to confirm or verify order details, payment, billing information, or any other information we deem necessary prior to shipment.

We are not responsible for delayed shipping times as a result of the courier’s errors during the shipping and handling of your product or as a result of a strike. We are not responsible for delayed shipping times as a result of extraordinary events such as extreme weather conditions (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornados, etc.) or war and terrorism-related events.

3.9 Signature Required

Orders of $100 or more will require a signature upon delivery to protect your package and prevent theft. This extra safety measure cannot be removed. You may inquire with our shipping partners directly to deliver the package without a signature in which case CaviarHub will not be liable for any lost or undelivered packages.

3.10 Providing A Wrong Address

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to provide us with an accurate, full, and complete address. Providing us with a wrong or incomplete address will result in a complete loss for the customer. CaviarHub will not re-ship the order.

4. Returns and Exchanges

Returns, exchanges, refunds, partial refunds, and store credits are subject to our Return & Exchange Policy.

  • All food sales of perishable items on CaviarHUB.com are FINAL SALE for public and health safety reasons. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted
  • All other products can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date in their original condition and packaging.
  • Unopened and unused items returned for credit will be subject to a 15% restocking fee deducted from the credit.

5. Natural Products

Certain products sold by CaviarHub such as sturgeon caviar, caviar, fish roe, and truffles are completely natural. As a result, the color, size, and texture of the product may vary from item to item and may be different than what is displayed in our online store.

Each natural product description includes a range of colors, sizes, and textures customers should expect. Returns or exchanges of natural and perishable products will not be accepted if they are within the range of color, size, and texture outlined in the product description.

We guarantee that all our natural products are 100% authentic even though they may not appear identical to the pictures in the product description.

6. Mobile Terms of Service

The CaviarHub.ca mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by CaviarHub.ca (“CaviarHub.ca”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to CaviarHub.ca’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of CaviarHub.ca through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with CaviarHub.ca. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18667983030 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other CaviarHub.ca mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt-out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any shortcode or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

Changes to this Policy

We may update our Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website.
