Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

CaviarHub.ca accepts returns of non-perishable goods within 30 days of the original purchase date. All perishable goods are guaranteed to be fresh upon arrival. Please inspect your order and products as soon as they are delivered.

If your package arrived damaged or tampered with, please get in touch with the courier and our Customer Care Team immediately.

Any delay in contacting the courier and our Customer Care Team will make it more difficult to file a claim. In this case, please keep ALL packaging and items EXACTLY as they arrived.

To initiate a return or an exchange for eligible products, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team to obtain a Return Authorization Number and return instructions.

Refunds

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition and packaging that you received it.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as caviar and truffles cannot be returned.

  • All food sales of perishable items on CaviarHub are FINAL SALE for public and health safety reasons. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted.
  • All sturgeon caviar, caviar, fish roe, fresh truffle, and other fresh food products cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • All other products can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date in their original condition and packaging.
  • Unopened and unused items returned for credit will be subject to a 15% restocking fee deducted from the credit.
  • CaviarHUB.ca does not cover return shipping costs.

Processing refunds and credits

  • Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
  • While refunds are immediate on our end, it may take your bank up to 10 business days to return the funds to your account.
  • If you have not received your refund after 10 business days please get in touch with our team.

Exchanges

Non-perishable items or items that arrived damaged or spoiled can be exchanged. To initiate an exchange, please get in touch with our team and we will help you right away.

Damaged, Spoiled, or Missing Items

All perishable items are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging and are guaranteed to arrive fresh.

If there are any quality-related issues with any part of your order, if your package arrived damaged, tampered with, or is missing one or more items please contact us immediately. All claims must be filed within 24 hours of receiving your order.

In order to process a claim, please keep the packaging and items as you received them. Please take pictures and/or videos as we will require them in order to facilitate the claim with our shipping partners. We will not credit any items deemed unsatisfactory if they are fully or partially consumed, or if they have been discarded.

Approved claims will receive a Return Authorization Number and return instructions. Once the goods are returned and inspected by CaviarHub.ca, we will reship your order. Perishable items such as caviar and truffles cannot be returned or exchanged and are final sale.

Natural Products

Certain products sold by CaviarHub.ca such as sturgeon caviar, caviar, fish roe, and truffles are completely natural. Our products are never modified, dyed, reshaped, or modified.

As a result, the color, size, and texture of the product may vary from item to item and may be different than what is displayed in our online store.

Each natural product description includes a range of colors, sizes, and textures customers should expect. Returns or exchanges of natural and perishable products will not be accepted if they are within the range of color, size, and texture outlined in the product description.

We guarantee that all our natural products are 100% authentic even though they may not appear identical to the pictures in the product description.

Return Shipping

CaviarHub.ca will supply customers with a return shipping label. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Canceling your Order

To cancel an order, please contact our Customer Care Team by email or live chat before the shipping cutoff time. Orders that have already been picked, packed, or shipped cannot be canceled. Perishable items such as caviar and truffles cannot be returned or exchanged and are final sale.
