Storing and Preserving our Beluga Caviar
Our Beluga caviar can typically be stored for up to six weeks in a fridge when sealed. Please store your Beluga caviar in the fridge as soon as it is received and taken out of our packaging.
We strongly recommend consuming our Beluga caviar in one seating for the best tasting experience. Once opened, it can typically be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours or at room temperature in its original packaging for up to 24 hours. Always consult the label for a precise recommended best-by date.
Shipping & Delivery
Our Beluga caviar is shipped the same day (for orders placed before 1:00 PM EST) and will typically arrive within 1 business day. Orders placed Wednesday afternoon through Sunday will ship on Monday and typically arrive on Tuesday.
Our caviar is shipped using a Next-Day (Overnight) shipping service and packaged carefully in temperature-controlled packaging to guarantee freshness.

Our Beluga caviar is sourced ethically and legally from the finest aquaculture farms in the world. We do not sell any wild or black-market caviar. Protecting this historic and endangered species is extremely important to our mission and 10% of our profits are donated to various organizations that work to protect wild sturgeons and restore their natural habitats around the world.
How our Beluga Caviar is Made
Raised sustainably and ethically in state-of-the-art aquaculture facilities, each Beluga sturgeon is hand-picked at peak maturity using the latest filtering and ultrasound technology. The fish roe is extracted using labour-inducing techniques and then carefully filtered, inspected, cured, and aged. Once ready, the Beluga caviar is then immediately packaged and made available online for purchase to ensure ultimate freshness, flavour profile and texture.
About Beluga (Huso Huso) Caviar
Beluga caviar comes from the Huso Huso sturgeon, the most prized sturgeon species found in the wild in the Black and Caspian seas near Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Bulgaria and several other countries.
The Beluga sturgeon can grow up to an impressive 3.28 meters long (almost 11 feet) and weigh as much as 264kg (582 lbs). Females can take up to 22 years to mature and begin producing their precious roe (fish eggs).

Packages ship with Next-Day (Overnight) shipping from Monday through Wednesday and typically arrive within 24 hours in larger cities and up to 48 hours in more rural areas. We do not ship from Thursday to Sunday to prevent orders from arriving spoiled in case of shipment delays. Please put your caviar in the fridge as soon as possible once you receive your order.
My caviar is a different color than the pictures, is it normal?Dave2023-05-02T10:45:42-04:00Sturgeon caviar comes in a wide range of colors, even from within the space species. For example, Ossetra caviar naturally comes in a range of colors from Golden Brown to Dark Brown so what you receive may differ slightly from what is pictures. If the color is significantly different, for example it is black instead of golden brown, please get in touch with us.
