Gregorio Munoz lives in Las Mesas, one of the most remote villages in the center of Mataques Cuintla. Perched at an altitude of 1900 meters, he cultivates a small 3-hectare plot alongside his brother René and their brother-in-law, Irineo Ramirez.

Like most producers in Mataques Cuintla, Gregorio has sold his whole coffee cherries throughout the year to finance the sale of his 10 sacks of washed coffee. He has the potential to harvest around 20 sacks per year.

Kohi purchases Gregorio's entire annual harvest of approximately 150lb to produce one of the finest small batch specialty coffees on the market.
